Spain is a country that throughout history has received a lot of influence from the cultures that have occupied the country. Since the invasion of the Romans, through the occupation of the barbarian to the Islamic conquest, the Spanish have lived in a constant process of clash of cultures that has resulted in one of the most unique cultures in the world.

Many of the Spanish fiestas and celebrations are rooted in religious tradition in Spain is Catholic. One of the most representative and customs held in Spain is bullfighting, which is celebrated in the streets of the country’s major cities, including Madrid, Seville, Pamplona, ??among others.
Of bullfighting shows another custom, the San Fermin festival, in honor of San Fermin. The tradition is originally from Pamplona, ??northern Spain and the most famous custom is known confinement, where the bravest are released to accompany a herd of bulls from the Santo Domingo corrals to the bullring. Another highly acclaimed Spanish custom is the Tomatina, a festival held in Bunol (Valencia). In this event participants will throw tomatoes at each other. Held the last Wednesday of August as part of a whole week of festivities in Bunol. Its origins date back to 1944, when young men protested to participate in a parade throwing all tomatoes found in the vegetable stalls.
Also celebrated the Battle of the wine during the 29 June for the feast of San Pedro. In La Rioja, hundreds of participants will be bathed in red wine until completely wet. Although many people feel uncomfortable, this custom continues to attract thousands of people annually from all sides.
